What is cothen?

CHURCH OF THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE NETWORK

The cothen is a non-religious organisation, holding the belief that the vastness of human experience felt throughout time, is something to celebrate. At cothen we use this philosophy to help each other better understand, connect, celebrate and enjoy our chosen moments with loved ones.

Currently the cothen is operating under our Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, Rev. Jordan Dean Mulvey. While cothen embraces some rituals and iconography of religious history (in a tongue-in-cheek manner), the "church" is very much a progressive operation built to embrace and celebrate everybody, from every walk of life.

As per our philosophy, we think that celebrating one another's experience of life is of utmost importance. So, to help improve that experience for as many as possible, cothen donates 10% of all income to a rotating roster of humanitarian projects and charities.
